[Technically, he could find Arthur's post and read it for himself, if he knew it was there to find, but they haven't had the luxury to be on the social media lookout, and this is more direct. The Order is still largely an unknown—and a morally grey one at that. So—]
His name is Arthur. His brother Michel - the leader of the Order and the one who supposedly caused the disappearance of the sun - is currently imprisoned alongside you.
[Scowly man who hates everyone, does that ring a bell?]
Arthur is confident that Michel will escape somehow, but fears that he will exact some means of revenge, magical or otherwise, on the people of this place if he's detained too long. Hence the offer of assistance.
[It's not a particularly promising explanation of events but as it stands, this temporary olive branch is all they've got.]
[Won't even give his own people the time of day, doesn't speak save to swear at the guards. The latter of which Eren is guilty of, too, but he doesn't ignore his fellow prisoners in his seething.]
if his brother thinks getting him out now will stop him from wanting revenge, he's too late
[As much as he'd like to get out of here, he hasn't forgotten that Michel's the guy who put the sun out in the first place. His sunny disposition isn't hard to get a read on. And vengeance is a motivation Eren understands pretty damn well.]
[Her contact with those inside the prison has been minimal at best and her proximity to the prison a touch too far. If something has happened, she won't hear about it until too late.]
He's pissed off that they took his magic away. It doesn't even seem like anything else matters to him.
[He doesn't even give his own people the time of day. Some leader.]
He's gonna want to make them regret it.
[And maybe some of that is colored by his own biases and assumptions. But he didn't need to get locked up to take out the sun. And when Eren thinks you've got anger issues, that's saying something. He can't see Michel not retaliating somehow, for the genuine amounts of aggression they've seen from him.]
If we break him out of here he'll have his power back. He was already planning something at the meeting.
[If they don't the crown executes him and takes away possibly the only person who knows how to deal with the eternal night. (Not to mention the rest of them.) Damned if you do—]
[So nothing yet, but something soon. The updates on Michel are hardly relieving but she forces herself to place his particular threats to the side. There's little she can do about him at the moment anyway, unversed and unfamiliar as she is with the particular limits of his power.]
I don't know that any of us have the power to counter him. [Save for perhaps Gilgamesh, but she's still reluctant to approach him despite Pearl's own faith. (She doesn't know about Glee, or the extent of Loki's own power yet.)] Arthur would know best how to deal with him.
Has he said anything to anyone in the prison about it?
There is a pause on his end where he stops to frown over at Michel, who's sitting sullenly in his own corner of the cell. Luckily, Michel's still busy ignoring everyone else and doesn't notice a damn thing.
Maybe (?) surprisingly, he doesn't seem all that against the idea. Doublecrossing Arthur when he's offering help to stop his brother from being detained seems low, but Michel hasn't exactly been endearing himself to them the longer he's spent with them. He definitely confessed to taking the sun out, and planning something that could very well be worse. Letting him go free seems like the greater evil, here. But.]
nothing they've done here has been enough to get him to change it
[No amount of interrogation (or "interrogation") or threat of execution seems to have made a difference.]
the way things are now, he seems pretty willing to take the sun down with him if he dies
[And they can't let that happen. But if they've got a plan to force it, they'll have to try something different.]
[Having seen Michel only from a distance, she has nothing but Eren's words to go by and the impressions gained by the other ALASTAIR recruits, none of which skew remotely towards the positive. For good reason, apparently.]
We'll have to find a way to keep him alive long enough to free him from the guards' custody then.
How's everyone's condition?
[Are they going to have to start dragging emaciated bodies out of the cell?]
still alive. they're trying to get us to crack before they get rid of us.
[But they're alive, and they're not cracking, and that's the important part. Two weeks on shitty rations won't kill them. They can take a little roughing up. It sucks, but they're not weak. Thankfully (?) most of the ALASTAIR contingent in the cell are pretty hardy—and pretty honorable. They're helping each other survive when they need to.]
we can't do much to help from in here. they watch us pretty close. and whatever the barrier is, it's screwing with people.
[Even the stuff that isn't really magic. He wouldn't consider his healing factor or his shifting to be magic, but the barrier's taking it out all the same. (Like Hellboy's inhuman strengths, or maybe even Kida's crystal. But then, maybe it's all semantics, in the end.)]
[It's enough to steady her, give her faith that they'll make it out of this alive and whole.]
Do you think you could spread the message to everyone inside? There may not be much you can do but we'll be able to evacuate quicker if people are aware.
[Ah but—]
Though it would be best if you didn't change your outward behavior in any way.
[No point in giving the guards an early heads up.]
[soon enough to be encouraging, since time is pretty much of the essence. after two weeks of nothing, he's more than ready to do something about this.]
if anything happens in here I'll try to get it to you or the captain
[Hopefully if he can't someone else will. Better to keep both sides updated, but if they're lucky nothing will change for the worse before they can make a break for it.]

not as far as I know. he won't even talk to the other members of the order
[They're useless to him in jail, and thus he doesn't have a need for them.]

Let's hope he doesn't try anything as soon as he's released.
[She hesitates a moment, deliberating on how to best phrase what's upcoming.]
Though there are some who'd like to keep him confined, albeit by different means.

He doesn't read too far into that hesitation, though he does ask—]
what do you mean?

This time, there's no hesitation in her answer. He deserves to know, even if nothing might come out of it.]
There are some who think that capturing Michel and forcing him to restore the sun is our best course of action.

you too, ma'am.
